WHAT IS LIS?
We are excited to invite you to join the Christian Community Development Association for their annual Locked in Solidarity awareness and action week to engage mass incarceration.
Locked in Solidarity (LIS) began in 2014 in an effort to increase CCDA community awareness of the impact incarceration was having in poor communities as well as support each other as we seek to reverse its devastating impacts.
Over five years later LIS has grown from one day to one week, from 7 communities to over 60 working together to not only raise awareness but to develop & implement strategies that will change the course of our criminal justice system. Together we remain committed to learn how to work together across racial, faith and political divides to see change happen. Thank you for joining our collective efforts.
