On behalf of the Elders and Deacons of Abounding Grace, we are writing to extend an invitation to you to join us for Pastors Appreciation Day on Sunday, November 9, 2014 as we extend our thanks and appreciation to our pastors for their ministry here at our local assembly.
We believe the Bible is clear in encouraging us to show our love and appreciation to our pastors and their families as they continue to labor for the Lord so faithfully in the church.
The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:11-12, “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”
God has truly blessed us and we want to be sure to express our appreciation publicly.
As a faith community, we all have the opportunity to participate in this celebration by giving contributions to Mrs. Lissette Velez or her husband Mark. All contributions will go directly toward Pastors Appreciation Sunday and should be submitted by Sunday, November 2nd.
